What Is Urgent Care at FamilyDoctorLive?

This isn’t an ER. And it’s not a strip-mall urgent care with fluorescent lights and a 2-hour wait. This is quick-access, physician-led care for simple, time-sensitive health issues — available by telehealth, in-office, or in select cases, at home.

Think of it as your personal urgent care without the overwhelm, focused on the stuff that just can’t wait… but doesn’t need a hospital.

No facility fee. No rushed visit. Just fast, thoughtful help from a real doctor who’s got the skills and the time.

What We Treat

Our urgent care is great for minor but urgent issues — things that are uncomfortable, getting worse, or need a small procedure.

Common things we handle:

• Infections – sinus, UTI, skin, minor wound infections
• Minor injuries – cuts, scrapes, bruises, sprains
• Sutures (stitches) for small lacerations
• Abscess treatment – incision and drainage of simple abscesses
• Ear wax impactions – ear flushes and evaluation
• Rashes – allergic reactions, irritations
• Cold & flu symptoms – sore throat, fever, body aches
• GI issues – nausea, vomiting, diarrhea
• Medication refills – short-term bridging (as clinically appropriate)

What We Don’t Offer (Yet)

Just so we’re clear — this is streamlined urgent care, not a full facility. We don’t have X-rays or labs on site, and we don’t do major procedures.

We do not offer:

• Imaging (X-ray, CT, ultrasound)
• Casting or splinting of fractures
• IV fluids or medications
• Hospital-level interventions
• Emergency services (chest pain, severe injuries, breathing issues)
