No. This membership is not a substitute for health insurance and only covers ADHD-related care and associated mild/moderate conditions.
We do not bill insurance directly. However, we will provide a superbill for you to submit to your insurance. If you are a member, we can submit the superbill on your behalf without a processing fee. Non-members will incur a 3% administrative fee for submissions.
No. If, during a covered ADHD visit, you request evaluation or treatment for a condition not included in your membership, the following add-on fees apply:
- Members: Yes, during designated clinic hours at no additional cost.
- Non-Members: Generally not available unless specifically arranged and may incur added fees.
- Home visits may be available to both members and non-members for an added fee.
Appointments canceled with less than 24 hours' notice or missed without notice will be subject to a $60 fee. Repeated no-shows or cancellations may result in termination of care.
All patient information is protected under HIPAA. Telehealth encounters are conducted via secure, encrypted platforms, and records are only shared with written permission or as required by law.
Yes. Membership may be canceled by either party with 5 days’ written notice. Re-enrollment requires a 2-month wait and repayment of the $399 setup fee.
The initial membership fee covers the full diagnostic evaluation to determine whether you have ADHD. If you’re not diagnosed, you won’t be obligated to continue with the membership or pay the ongoing monthly fee. You’ll only be responsible for the initial payment, which reflects the cost of the evaluation.
Yes. If you’re not diagnosed but would like to continue care, Dr. Kamen will honor the member-rate pricing for the remainder of your first year. After that year, your rate would revert to standard non-member pricing.
You’re also welcome to remain in the membership. While it’s designed around ADHD care, the membership also includes treatment for related conditions such as mild to moderate anxiety and depression. If your care needs are limited and visits are infrequent, it may not be financially necessary to stay enrolled—paying per visit could be more cost-effective. That said, remaining in the membership guarantees access to as many telehealth visits as needed within the scope of care included in the membership description.
